Practically this means we do not discriminate by ethnicity, gender, religion, sexuality, disability or anything else. This is a safe supportive space. We treat folk with kindness and respect.
2. We are welcoming
Getting out of your home office and into a room (online or in person) can feel intimidating. We are a warm, welcoming space.
3. Stay positive & constructive
Our aim is to build each other up. When folk speak or share ideas ask questions and support their time, effort and bravery. Don’t critique, criticise or correct unless specifically asked to.
4. Share what you know, ask when you don’t
Everyone has their own unique path, and as a result has something useful to offer. whether it’s a tip, a link, or a quick idea bounce. When you have knowledge: share it. When you need a hand: ask away.
5. A space for connection over promotion
We get SUPER excited when members in our community do cool things together, but that tends to come from turning up and being helpful rather than hard selling. Come into the space looking to make connection rather than selling and cool things tend to happen.
6. Respect privacy & trust
What’s shared in the community stays in the community, unless someone explicitly says otherwise. Be mindful of confidentiality, especially if someone shares a challenge or sensitive info.
